Recommendation Letter for Au Pair

Here is a great example of  Recommendation Letter for Au Pair. You should  modify this  letter according to your purpose.

To Whom It May Concern,

We are a family of five living in the LaBrouste area. We have three kids- Max, Deidre and Camille. They are ages 2, 6 and 8 years old and they can be quite a handful. It was at this time Maman et Bebe, an au pair agency sent us Maria Lutz to stayed with us as an au pair for the next six months. Maria is also a short course student at the Ecole near our residence. It was her first time to live in Paris under a Host Family.

Maria has basic knowledge of French and could communicate easily with my children. As she pursued classes at the University on certain days of the week, she was able to talk and learn French in a conversational manner within those six months. Maria has proven to be a bright, smart and sensitive individual.

My wife and I both managed out boutique business at Montparnasse. The shop would require us to work late and long hours during peak tourists season. Maria was the support we needed in our household during these busy months. She did the housework tasks very well and looked after my children. She takes them to school, prepares their meals and tucks them to bed when we are out late.

Being the caring individual that she is, my children do not hesitate to ask for Maria's help or advice when it comes to school. She is very much like a big sister to all my children. She is respectful of the boundaries and guidelines we set in the household, she is well-mannered and is considerate of our privacy. She has become close to us and we consider her as part of the family.

Having Maria with us made things easier and now that the six months have passed, we surely miss her presence and her warm smile in our kitchen every morning.

We strongly recommend her as an au pair for young kids. I would like to remind you as a host family too that Maria Lutz is also quite young herself, she is only 19 years old yet she has done remarkably well for someone her age to be independent, away from her home, exploring the world and immersing in a different culture altogether. Maria maybe young, but she is also well-adjusted and reliable lady.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email me or do not hesitate to contact me at this telephone number +222 5555 666

Truly Yours,
Adam and Sally Robberts

Recommendation Letter for Fellowship Program

Here is a sample Recommendation Letter requested by a student from his professor, to be used as part of application to a Fellowship Program or Master Degree. Recommendation Letters are hard to come by and this sample is very detailed in highlighting the strong points of the individual.

To Whom It May Concern:

I am proud to recommend Maria Roberts to your fellowship program. I was asked to make a recommendation on behalf of being the Program Director who has worked with Maria on several grassroots campaigns while he was studying at Michigan Tech University.

Maria has the zeal and commitment in pursuing social advocacies, a very rare passion for community welfare that I hardly see among students his age. He came into one of my classes on Public Policy with the eagerness and willingness to learn. He is very dynamic, resourceful and energetic. The campaign work he has done has been very beneficial to the Sanford Homeless community, much of the tasks at that shelter can both be physically and emotionally demanding. But Maria persevered and equally pursued social programs that would increase the quality of life of people at the Sanford Center.

Having seen him then, 2008, to now, 2012, I can only commend him on how he continues to mature as a professional and a young emerging leader in the field of Public Policy in the Michigan area. I assure your institution that Maria deserves an opportunity to be part of this fellowship.

Always, in his work, Maria is consistent in achieving target goals mandated for his core team. In 2011, he was in charged in distributing community and welfare aid during the onslaught of Hurricane Jones, Maria was one of the first on the scene, hands-on in managing relief efforts and evenly composed in the face of policy pressure from City Hall. I highly recommend him Maria for his passion, intellect and spirit for this fellowship programme. At our institution, we are expecting big things from Maria and his altruistic endeavors.

Thank you once again for the opportunity to recommend such a special and impressive young man.

Sincerely,
Professor Michel Adams

Subject:  Letter of Recommendation for Abedalrazq F. Khalil

Dear Ms. Austin:

It is my distinct pleasure to recommend Abedalrazq (Abed) F. Khalil for the NOAA Postdoctoral Program in Climate and Global Changes.  I have worked with Abed for the last 3 years and he is a hardworking and creative colleague who has accomplished groundbreaking work in the water management and decision-support sphere.

As a graduate student at Utah State University, Abed has worked on several problems that are critical to improving water management in Utah’s Sevier River Basin.  They include developing short-term forecasts for:  (1) the reservoir release on one of Utah’s major reservoirs – Piute Reservoir and (2) the canal diversion into one of Utah’s major canals – Sevier Valley/Piute.  Abed’s work uses hierarchical Bayesian analysis and statistical learning theory and for input uses real-time data from the Basin’s monitoring network.  His model for Piute Dam will be tested in a real-time application this spring.  The model shows great promise for improving water management in the central Sevier River Basin.

In a related study, he has been working on a long-term forecast model for one of the principal steam gauging stations in the Sevier River Basin – Sevier River @ Hatch.  Abed has been using multi-sensor data fusion and statistical downscaling for forecasting this important hydrological measuring point.  His seasonal model utilized different sets of data from snow water equivalent, sea surface temperature, and weather data to forecast water availability.  This long-term will prove very valuable in operating the reservoirs of the Sevier River.

Abed is highly motivated and accomplishes all of his work in a very efficient manner.  He is an outstanding graduate student and has done excellent work for our organization – the Bureau of Reclamation.  The combination of being highly motivated, very intelligent, and personable makes him a very valued colleague and a worthy applicant for your program.

Sincerely,
Roger D. Hansen, Ph.D.

Recommendation Letter

I am writing this letter to recommend Mr. ( Student Name) who is currently seeking admission to the master program at your institute.

I have known Mr. ( last name) or more than two years. He was one of the students in the electrical and computer engineering department at the Islamic University of Gaza.
Mr. ( last name) ook some of the undergraduate courses which I have taught. His performance in these courses was very good and he was among the top 15%. Also I had the chance to supervise his senior graduation project in which he studied simulation of computer networks using OPNET. He has shown very good performance in approaching the final goal by understanding the problem statement, suggesting the appropriate solutions and composing the report in a well organized manner. He also displayed very good skills in spoken and written English during discussions and reports

Moreover, I had the chance to recognize many of his personal traits through my observations over a span of two years, Mr. ( last name) s ambitious, hardworking, and has a respectful and disciplined personality. He is dedicated and well motivated in his work, and can perform excellent as an individual and as a team member as well.

I could clearly say that he is very committed to pursuing his graduate education and I believe that he will be one of the best students in his class. Therefore, I do strongly recommend him for admission to the master program at your department.

Dear respected Sir/Madam:

I am writing to recommend Abed Elhadi F. Khalil for the Fulbright scholarship. As a Senior Scientist at the Islamic University of Gaza and a member of Mr. Khalil’s advisory committee, I have had the opportunity to interact with Mr. Khalil and to observe and participate in his curricular and extracurricular activities.  I can truly say that I have never known a candidate whom I can recommend more for a Fulbright scholarship. His investigations into many research topics and the practicality of his ideas and analysis are focused, disciplined and insightful.  He has acquired a deep understanding not only of electrical engineering, communication and control theories, but also of the significant new developments in industrial mathematics and its applications.

Mr. Khalil participated in numerous studies in which he applied profoundly new techniques to build simulation models of the Log-Periodic dipole array antenna, wireless digital remote control systems, communication systems, and linear systems & signals . His efforts in sharing these creative ideas with other colleagues are valuable to the both the field and the community as a whole. Mr. Khalil’s thoughts and his desire for learning have important implications for our university and our country.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if I can help you further in evaluating this most impressive candidate.
