Dear Adam,

I am pleased to confirm your hire to the position of Light Equipment Operator with the city of Mosquito Heights. This position is classified as full-time, non-exempt ( overtime eligible). Overtime compensation will be provided at a rate of 1.5 times your hourly wage for hours work in excess of 40 in any work week. You will be excepted to work 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week. You starting salary will be $16.45 per hour and your first day of work will be on May 10, 2013. Per our earlier discussion, you are authorized to take three days of leave without pay in June for the trip you scheduled prior to this hire.
