Complaint letter to neighbor to stop their pets entering your property

This sample complaint letter asks a neighbor to stop his/ her pet from relieving itself on your property. You have to customize this letter in order to meet your purpose.

Dear neighbor,

I’m sorry to have to bring this up, but are you aware that your pet has a habit of pooping in my yard?  Obviously, this has become quite a nuisance, otherwise I wouldn't bring it up. I’d appreciate it if you would keep your pet in your own yard.  If the problem persists, I’ll have to ask that you come over to do the clean-up yourself.

I appreciate your understanding and prompt attention to this problem.

Sincerely,

Request letter to neighbor to clean up his yard

This sample request letter asks a neighbor to clean up a yard that may be overgrown or cluttered with junk.

Dear neighbor,

I am writing to ask that you please clean up your yard.  Ours is a respectable, presentable neighborhood, one in which pride of ownership is evident in each piece of property.  When even one yard is allowed to become overgrown and hideous, it distracts from the overall appearance of the entire neighborhood, resulting in lower property values for us all.  Also, I’m sure you’re aware of the health risk an overgrown yard presents.  Tall weeds and out of control grass invite rats and other disease-ridden rodents to take up residence where they would otherwise never think of living.
I don’t mean to be a pest and I want to help in any way that I can.  If you need to borrow a few tools to help you get your yard shaped up, you have only to ask.    Thank you for your understanding and immediate attention to this request.

Sincerely,

Request Letter to Neighbor to Stop Parking His Car in Front of Your Home

This sample letter asks a neighbor to stop parking a car in a space that should be reserved for your vehicle. You have to customize this request letter to be suitable for you purpose.

I don’t mean to sound like a curmudgeon, but would you please not park your car in front of my house anymore?  I have limited curb space and, with your vehicle there, my guests and visitors are forced to park in front of other people’s houses and walk to my house.  I would request that you please park in front of your own house or in your own driveway.

Thank you very much for your understanding and prompt attention to this request.  If you feel we need to discuss this matter, please let me know.

Complaint Letter from a Parent Against students in the school

Here is a sample complaint letter from a concerned parent regarding the harassment and bullying of her son in class. The letter is addressed to the Principal with a call for immediate action.

Dear Principal Maria,

My son Alex Anderson is a third grade student under Mrs. David's class. I would like to call your attention on these two students from his class: Jon Meyer and Adam Zandler. They have been bullying my son up to no end.

Recently, these boys have brought an air rifle to school to show off to their peers and during recess, the said air rifle was lost and the blame is being place on my son. They are accusing Alex of theft. This is not true. My son is a well-mannered boy, we have made it a point to raise him with good values and respect for other's rights and property. My son has told me of his predicament in school over the weekend, all the bullying and the harassment he has gone through. He is very uncomfortable of bringing this up to his teacher as he is afraid of being branded a snitch by his peers. However, I see that my son can no longer endure such treatment and he is willing to talk about the situation with these boys at your office.

Moreover, I am shocked that an item such an air rifle has gone unnoticed in the school premises. It maybe considered a toy, but it is not a child's plaything, an air rifle is meant to be used under the supervision of adults. Also the presence of such a weapon may cause harm to other children.

If possible, I would like to request for a meeting with you and his teacher, even perhaps the boys' parents to address the issue. I am kindly asking your office for help with this matter.

Thank you very much
Mrs. Sara Anderson

Complaint letter to Neighbors about Loud Noise or Loud Music

Though there are noise ordinances in cities, some neighbors can't get a clue about the noise they make. So call them out with this letter without getting into a fight worthy of Springer.  Hopefully the noise issue will resolve itself without the neighborly drama.

Hi Jack,

Its me Adam room 208-B. I do want to talk to you personally about this, but as you know I work odd shifts at the hospital and I really come home very tired at night. Lately, the noise level from your unit is becoming a problem in our building and I'm not the only one who took noticed. However, the other tenants have asked me to bring this to your attention since we're on the same floor.

I would like to kindly ask if it would be possible to tone down the music during the evening and on school nights. I'm also a big fan of Cher and her music, I wouldn't mind hearing your playlist in the daytime or on weekends. I hope you understand our concern.

Cheers,
Adam

Letter Complaining about Employee Behavior at Work

A complaint letter to address the issue of a co-worker's behavior and performance at work which is affecting the whole department team. The letter is given to human resources hoping that the employee's personal issues may be resolved through intervention by their immediate superiors.

Dear Human Resources Officer,

As you all know, I have nothing but great respect for those I work with everyday. But lately, Cristina's tardiness (coming in late, long lunch breaks and disappearing during work hours) is really affecting our production process. We really need her to be here for us and focused on her tasks. We cannot proceed to do our own jobs unless she finishes up the assembly forms assigned to her. And we are running out of time to make the May 27th deadline.

I would like to help her by informing you that Cristina may have a serious problem in her life right now that is affecting her work. I know how important and loyal she is to the company. I trust that you will do the right thing by talking to her. We are very concerned for her welfare.
I hope you will be able to help her out.

If you would like me to explain the situation further, please let me know.

Best Regards,
Robert

Complaint Letter from employer to human resources

Here is an example of  Complaint Letter: Responding to Employment Termination Threats Due to Pregnancy Leave. You are advised to modify this letter to be suitable for your purpose.

Dear Human Resources manager,

I have been on maternity leave since June 10, 2012 but I recently received a letter from Human Resources stating that my request for my maternity leave was filed too late.

I am also denied the option to take an extended maternity leave as you now require me to return to work on June 20, 2012 or resign immediately by giving your office 30 days notice. I believe this is an unjust move on your behalf, as I have specified before that my doctor has required me to take a maternity leave due to pregnancy complications.

I have also sought legal advice on the matter and I have ascertain that I have properly complied with company policy regarding the time frame of which I filed my notice. Under the laws of this country, I am entitled to 2-3 weeks maternity leave as a regular employee of the company. I have been a loyal employee of Cardanis Soles Inc. for the last six years.

Attached are the copy of my maternity leave documents, a letter from my lawyer regarding my rights as an employee and a mother. Also a document about the recent labor and workplace laws in effect.

I will file for legal action if you will pursue to terminate my employment based solely on my file for maternity leave.

As much as possible, I do not want to subject myself to any stressful scenarios given my condition. I also do not want such an issue to affect my working relationship with the company to which I have been a sincere and hardworking employee.

You may reach me through my contact details and we can meet and settle the matter at hand.

Regards,
Claudia the Pregnant employee
