Asking an employer for payment for freelance contract work done for his company. You should  modify this letter according to your need and situation.

Dear Mr. Danyial,
Greetings!

I would like to personally ask you about the status of my talent fee for the renovation projects we've done. I've been following up with Chantal your secretary, but to no avail. I hope you can advise me when I can get my check. Is it possible to receive my ful payment this month?

I hope to hear from you soon.

Thanks,

Letter Asking for the Status of my Job Interview

After a long wait, its quite alright to ask about your application status after several interviews with a company. No need to sit tight and wait in employment limbo. Sending a polite and specific letter might push your chances in finally getting hired.

Dear Ma'am,

I hope my letter finds you well. I am Louise Lister and I would just like to follow-up on the status of my job application.

Last July, I applied for the junior marketing position for MilkManns Inc. and I went through 1st and 2nd interviews by mid-July. I met with the HR manager on the 1st interview who informed me that MilkManns was looking to make decisions soon. Overall, the interview was very positive. On the 2nd interview, I met with Hal Stevens, the regional marketing director and he sent me to 3rd floor to meet with Amber Davis the senior marketing director. I am uncertain about how I did with that interview, but they did let me in on their work flow and process. Miss Davis made me try out some of the pitches and asked for my opinion- I took this to be a positive sign on my part. She also disclosed that they are very much in need of a junior marketing associate to be on board.

As you might gather from my email, I remain very interested to work for MilkManns Inc. and I feel I am a suitable candidate for the job.

It's been 3 weeks since my 2nd interview. Though I know you run a very busy schedule, I would like to ask about the status of my application. I would really appreciate any word on the matter.

Thank you very much for your consideration.

Sincerely,
Maria

Payment Request Letter for Services

Clients have selective amnesia particularly when it comes to bills involving services (hard labor, man hours, contract work).

Its easier for them to pay for tangible items because the thing will always serve as a constant reminder of what they've bought and are still paying for. Now if you are a service industry professional or contractor, this sample letter may be just what you need to get that payment settled.

Dear Miss Sara,

As of April 15, we have received no response on our previous requests regarding the payment on invoice #20-222-33. This bill is being served for services rendered at your estate at 40-D Magnolia Drive which includes - topiary, gardening, weeding and pest control.

The service was approved according to your specifications and achieved on time as scheduled. Attached is the copy of the approval form of which you have signed on all service dates.

Since this invoice is now past our terms of net 30 days, please remit your payment via wire transfer, credit card or check today.

Sincerely,
Grey Gardens Topiary Services

Follow up Request on Pay Raise Letter

You have created the perfect pay raise letter and sent it to your boss. Unfortunately, he ignores it and doesn't bother to email you back. Maybe its time for a more frank approach with this Follow-up Salary Increase sample letter.

Dear HR Officer

Good day!

I know you are very busy, but it has been a two weeks and I have received no response from you about my recent letters regarding my pay raise request. I would like to set up a meeting with you discussing my employment status at the marketing department.

To be honest, I can’t think of any other job I’ve enjoyed more in my career, and being part of Brand X commodities has been a true learning experience. I appreciate the trust and confidence the company has place in me through the past 14 months and I believe I have done everything possible to maintain that trust by meeting all expectations and soul-crushing deadlines.

I would really appreciate any update from the management or any concerns they might have about my request.

Thank you for your immediate attention to this matter.

Respectfully yours,

Sean Roberts

Follow up letter on Client about Proposal

Here is  a sample follow up letter on client about his / her proposal to company. You should modify this letter to be suitable for your purpose.

Dear [Name],

As we discussed, I have attached a summary of your product concerns that could serve as a starting point for a feasibility study. My work-up is very basic and straightforward, but I believe a market analysis of this kind could provide you with key answers to your target market questions.

Generally, the study should measure the present value of the quality of the product and the consumer’s interest in purchasing such a product at this time of the year and at this location.

Let me know of other concerns as you talk to your core team. Shall we talk again sometime in July?

Best Regards,
